Pinkshift claps back at the haters!

Pinkshift had an incredible year on M4B Radio in 2022. The Baltimore, Maryland natives broke through with hits such as “Nothing (In My Head)”, “I’m Not Crying, You’re Crying”, and “In A Breath”, all from their debut album “Love Me Forever”. However, not everyone has been pleased with their breakout success. Some listeners have criticized the band for overexposure, especially on the M4B Radio Top 40. Now the band has decided to break their silence and clap back at their haters.

Lead singer Ashrita Kumar told us in an exclusive tell-all interview, “People are really mad about our songs smashing the charts, but yet where is the outrage over Rina Sawayama releasing a new single every day? Rumor has it she plans on releasing 27 singles from “Hold The Girl!” And what about Carly Rae Jepsen, whose last two albums have basically been mediocre covers of “Cut To The Feeling”. I see nobody complaining about her. And do not even get me STARTED on Jerry Cantrell and JessieLou. Surely someone else must have noticed that those two were the only ones getting #1’s on the top 40 during the first half of the year. What the hell is a prism of doubt anyway?!”

We feel your pain, Ashrita. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re about to stream “Cut To The Fee— I mean “Talking To Yourself” by Carly Rae Jepsen!
